BUSINESS COLLABORATION

A 10-language audio guide service for visitors to Japan

Raise local experience value —
toward foot traffic, spending and results.

GuideTunes partners with local governments, tourism associations, companies, facilities and transport operators to plan and produce the history, culture and food of each region as multilingual audio experiences that reach international travelers. Beyond raising travelers' understanding and satisfaction, we support the whole cycle — movement within the area, referrals to facilities and stores, expanded spending opportunities, and data-driven improvement of initiatives. Through planning, production, launch, QR placement and usage analytics, we support maximizing business results for regions and facilities.

From traveler satisfaction to your area's business results.

GuideTunes is not mere audio content production — we design guidance, movement, referrals, usage measurement and improvement as one system.

From planning to post-launch improvement, we walk with you as one project.

Producing the content is not the end — we review usage after launch and support improvements to routes, placements and content.

In addition to traveler-facing deliverables such as audio guides, QR codes and tour maps, we provide a management and analytics environment covering accesses, plays, purchases and trends by language.

Improvement reports

Make each initiative's results visible, and feed them into the next improvement.

Review usage per facility, placement, campaign and language, and use it for monthly reports and reviews of your initiatives. Based on the usage data, we propose improvements to QR placements, tour routes, content structure and guidance methods.

We propose a sensible way in, matched to your goals and scale.

After reviewing your needs, we propose a schedule and cost based on the scope, number of spots, number of languages, production and supervision scope, management features and operation period. We support step-by-step adoption — from a small proof of concept at one facility in a few languages, to region-wide tour initiatives and ongoing operation.

Standard package

Content volume, languages and features are designed around your facility's or region's goals.

Small proof of concept

Start from a PoC — one facility, a few spots, a few languages — and expand once you have seen the usage.

Joint projects

We discuss joint planning and operation schemes based on local challenges, business goals, division of roles and revenue structure.

Frequently asked questions

Can we start small?
Yes. We support small proofs of concept — one facility, a subset of languages. After reviewing your needs, we propose the scope, schedule and cost.
How is the cost determined?
Individually quoted based on the number of spots, script volume, number of languages, supervision scope, photo/video production, field research, dashboards or custom development, and the operation period.
How does a project proceed?
Three phases: Planning (hearing, research, proposal & estimate) → Production (scripts, translation, audio, supervision) → Launch & improvement (launch, QR placement, analytics, updates).
Can you use our existing materials?
Yes. We start from restructuring your Japanese source material — brochures, signage, websites — into audio-ready scripts, then localize them.
How is translation and audio quality assured?
We localize with cultural context, arrange native review and expert supervision as needed, and you review everything before launch.
How is usage reported?
Monthly reports covering accesses, plays, purchases and usage share by language, measured separately per facility, placement and campaign QR.
Can we consult about more than audio guide production?
Yes. Consultations can cover regional tours, referrals to facilities and stores, QR journeys, multilingual content, usage analytics, joint campaigns and more.
Can we also ask for usage analysis and improvement proposals?
Depending on the project, we review accesses, plays, purchases and trends by language, and propose improvements to placements, tour routes and content structure.
Will foot traffic and spending definitely increase?
We do not guarantee an increase in movement, usage or spending. Results vary depending on local characteristics, routes, placement, guidance methods and content.

Adopting or partnering with GuideTunes does not guarantee an increase in sales, purchases or usage. Results vary depending on placement, guidance methods, visitor numbers, usage and content.

Let's build experiences travelers choose — and business results for your region or facility.

Even at the concept stage or for a small proof of concept, we review your goals, target area and timing, and propose the right way forward.
