BUSINESS & PARTNERSHIPS

A 10-language audio guide service for visitors to Japan

Local stories, turned into
traveler experiences and business growth.

Together with stores and venues, promotion staff, companies and local governments, GuideTunes delivers the history, culture and food of each destination to travelers as audio experiences in 10 languages. Starting from a dedicated QR code, we provide multilingual guidance, purchases, results measurement and payout & reward management as one integrated system — raising traveler satisfaction while keeping on-site work light, and supporting the creation of new referral, purchase and revenue opportunities and the maximization of business results.

Turn your touchpoints and expertise into traveler experiences and business results.

We offer ways to work together that fit your position and goals — guidance at stores and venues, introductions to travelers, and local content production. Deliver better experiences to travelers while connecting them to business results such as referrals, purchases, payouts, performance rewards and local spending.

01 ─ STORE & VENUE PARTNERS

Turn in-store and in-facility touchpoints into experiences and sales opportunities.

A partner program where your store or venue places dedicated QR codes and materials and introduces GuideTunes to travelers. Day to day, your main tasks are placing the QR codes and giving simple guidance when needed — GuideTunes provides the multilingual guidance, purchase flow, results measurement and payout management. Improve service for travelers while creating a new revenue opportunity based on GuideTunes purchases: 20–30% of monthly eligible net sales via your QR codes is paid back (a rank system where last month's results set this month's rate).

For: hotels, ryokan, restaurants, souvenir shops, tourist attractions, commercial facilities, tourist information centers and more

02 ─ PROMOTION STAFF

Turn the value you bring travelers into results and rewards.

A program where you introduce GuideTunes with your dedicated QR code or referral link, helping travelers enjoy each area more deeply. Qualifying first purchases are measured as results, and you receive performance-based rewards according to what you achieve. Within the rules, you choose the way of working that suits you — in person, on social media, on the web, or at partner venues and events.

03 ─ BUSINESS COLLABORATION

Raise local experience value, and connect it to foot traffic and spending.

We plan and produce the history, culture and food of your region or facility as multilingual audio content. Beyond raising travelers' understanding and satisfaction, we support the whole cycle — movement within the area, referrals to facilities and stores, expanded spending opportunities, and data-driven improvement of your initiatives.

For: local governments, tourism associations, DMOs, companies, transport operators, commercial facilities, travel agencies and more

04 ─ PRODUCTION & SUPERVISION

Turn your expertise into experiences travelers choose.

A partnership that brings your expertise — history, culture, architecture, food, translation, photography, video or audio — into GuideTunes content that travelers can easily understand. Turn specialist knowledge into content value, raising travelers' understanding and satisfaction and the appeal of regions and facilities.

Frequently asked questions

Which program should I choose?
If you run a store or venue and want to place QR codes, choose the Store & Venue Partner program. If you are an individual who wants to introduce GuideTunes and earn performance-based rewards, choose the Promotion Staff program. For official audio guides or regional projects, Business Collaboration is the right entry point. Not sure? Just ask us via the consultation link at the bottom of this page.
Are there any fees?
For store and venue partners, initial and monthly fees are in principle ¥0 (custom content, bespoke development, printing and shipping may incur separate costs). There is no participation or registration fee for promotion staff. Business collaboration projects are individually quoted.
Can individuals apply or consult?
Yes. The Promotion Staff program is designed for individuals. We also welcome individual experts — in history, culture, translation, photography and more — as production and supervision partners.
Can I start right after applying?
After you apply, we review your application, conclude a contract, and then issue your dedicated QR code before you start. It is not instant, but we keep you informed using your reference number.
What information can I see?
Your dashboard shows accesses per QR code, purchases, eligible net sales, estimated and finalized payouts, payment status, and usage by language. We never disclose purchasers' personal information such as names, email addresses or payment details to partners.
How are official partnerships distinguished from independent content?
GuideTunes clearly distinguishes official, cooperative and supervised content from content GuideTunes produces independently. We never claim to be official, affiliated or supervised for venues we have no agreement with.

Adopting or partnering with GuideTunes does not guarantee an increase in sales, purchases or usage. Results vary depending on placement, guidance methods, visitor numbers, usage and content.
